HEMA Foundation Structure Description
1. Board of Trustees
Sarah Ameh, Ruth Ochefu, Grace Ujah, Nabila Anas, Buki Ponle, Peter Ogbudu
Oversees governance, ensures alignment with vision, and upholds core values of gender equality, Rehabilitation of sexual and domestic abuse victims, climate change mitigation, and inclusivity for Women with disabilities.
2. Executive Team: Led by the President/Founder Sarah Ameh, this team includes directors for gender equality, Rehabilitation of sexual and domestic abuse victims, climate change, and disability advocacy. They strategize and implement policies.
3. Gender Equality Division Led by Nabila Anas & Sarah Ameh: Focuses on programs that empower women and girls through education, skills training, and advocacy for gender rights. Rehabilitation of sexual and domestic abuse victims
4. Climate Change & Sustainability Division Led by Buki Ponle: Develops initiatives for climate change awareness, clean energy projects, and community-based sustainability efforts.
5. Disability Inclusion Division Led by Dorcas Imafidon &Alice Kwaha: Ensures equal participation and empowerment of Women with disabilities by promoting accessible programs and resources.
6. Outreach & Training/Projects & Programs Department Led by Amos John & Jeremiah Ernest Ochefu & Onoja Ameh: Organizes community education on gender equality, climate change, and disability inclusion through workshops, seminars, and partnerships.
7. Monitoring & Evaluation Unit Led by Ruth Ochefu & Sarah Ameh
Tracks the impact and effectiveness of programs, aligning with the foundation’s goals.
8. Volunteers & Partnerships Network Led by Grace Ujah
Engages volunteers and partners with local and international organizations for collaborative efforts
